About the Tour

The Take Down Tobacco Youth Advocacy Tour is geared toward youth advocates who are interested in becoming Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids Youth Ambassadors. These are advocates ready to take on the tobacco industry and fight for social and health justice.

Attendees will participate in workshops on community organizing, media engagement, activism tactics, writing and more. They'll also gain real-world experience by working alongside seasoned advocates, building networks and meeting with legislators.

Participants will leave with key advocacy skills to continue fighting for tobacco control efforts in their communities — skills that can be applied to any issue important to them and their peers.

The events are free of charge, and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids will cover costs associated with attending – including travel, meals and lodging.
